B-Logbook: 05.12.2018: Paul McCartney – My Concert of the Year!

Erstmal auf österreichisches Deutsch, also: Paul McCartney, ewiger Beatle, spielt heute Abend auf seiner „Freshen Up“-Tournee ein Konzert in der Stadthalle in Wien und morgen noch eins. Weil ich es mir nicht leisten konnte, vor Ort dabei zu sein, hänge ich abends zuhause rum in meinem Wohnzimmer in Salzburg. Große Paul McCartney Party mit meiner Amore, der Liebe meines Lebens. Wir sehen uns am Fernseher via YouTube Paul McCartneys großartige Liveshow vom „Austin City Limits Fest“, am 5. Oktober 2018 in Texas an – vor, geschätztes Minimum , etlichen, total euphorisierten zehntausend Leuten, ebenso viele Junge wie Ältere. Und hey, wir singen mit und grooven als wie!

Paul – ich darf „Sir“ Paul McCartney „Paul“ nennen; er hat mir das erlaubt, als ich vor zehn Jahren mal über eine Stunde lang ein Interview mit ihm machen konnte –, Paul und seine superfantastisch rockende Band, die nun schon rund 15 Jahre mit ihm zusammen ist, länger als er es mit den Beatles oder den Wings war, rocken und rollen aus den Hi-Fi-Lautsprecherboxen. Voll LAUT! 2 Stunden und 15 Minuten lang pure Glückseligkeit! Fühlt sich an wie das Paradies! MEIN KONZERT DES JAHRES!

And now in English, somehow. Beatle Paul McCartney is playing on his „Freshen Up“-Tour a concert in Vienna, Wiener Stadthalle, tonight, and again tomorrow. As I couldn’t afford being there, l am stuck here this evening in Salzburg in my living room. A great Paul McCartney with my amore, the love of my life! We are watching on the telly via YouTube his great live gig at Austin City Limits Fest on October 5th, 2018 – in front of at least some ten thousand totally euphoric people – as much young ones as older ones. And hey, we sing along and are getting fully into the groove!

Paul – I can call “Sir” Paul McCartney “Paul”; he allowed me to when I did an interview with him for over an hour ten years ago. So, Paul and his superfantastico rocking band for 15 years now, are booming out of the hi-fi-speakers LOUD! 2 hours and 15 minutes of pure bliss! Feels like paradise. MY CONCERT OF THE YEAR!
